The Research and Development Cell of the college has been established in accordance with the guidelines of the Department of Higher Education, Haryana and UGC to promote a culture of research, innovation, and knowledge creation among faculty and students. The Cell acts as a catalyst to strengthen research aptitude, encourage interdisciplinary projects, and facilitate collaborations with academic institutions, industries, and government agencies.

Objectives

• To create a conducive environment for quality research and innovation.

• To encourage faculty and students to undertake research projects and publications.

• To disseminate information regarding research grants, fellowships, and funding agencies.

• To organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and training programmes on research methodology.

• To promote research ethics, integrity, and intellectual property rights (IPR) awareness.

Functions of the Cell

• Assisting faculty and students in preparing proposals for minor/major research projects.

• Encouraging publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in conferences.

• Maintaining records of research outputs, publications, and projects of the college.

• Identifying research opportunities, funding agencies, and consultancy services.

• Supporting innovation and incubation activities.

• Promoting interdisciplinary and socially relevant research aligned with national and state priorities.
